The Jazz are going to play him 20 minutes a night at the very least. Not like we are trying to win anything. What good would it do to let him rot on the bench in a year clearly set up for development?

What's more important this year? Fixing his shot, keeping him healthy, getting him stronger...OR...playing him an extra 5 mins, have him put in situations where he reverts to bad shooting habits and maybe, maybe winning 1-5 more games?

Lindsay said fans need to readjust their expectations. He didn't say that because Utah is going to showcase Exum this year.

If you can't fix his shot, you just drafted a Rubio player...if you are lucky. The good news is, Snyder has helped Korver get more dynamic offensively, helped Millsap become an All-Star, help DeMare get better. He can help Exum.

p.s. Playing Exum 15 mins is developing him. It is also seeing what you have in Burke, Burks, and Hayward and how they will all fit together.

same here. LP is so overpriced but i did not know any other site. i will def try ballstreams.com this time

Sent from the JazzFanz app

I think LP is a great value. $189 bucks for 82 games is a pretty fair deal. If you go broadband only it is even cheaper!

I'm leaning towards there too. I mean the sites alike Ballstreams. Last few years, I kept telling myself I won't purchase LP but I have found myself being done that again and again. I guess this is another way of pushing the product owner to better quality, a quality level that is totally earned by the purchaser. So this looks like the route to go both rationally, pragmatically and morally. ECTYA offered me one before. I'm gonna check this thing out before the next one.

That's the same site actually. I'm too thinking about it and reading good things about it but I'm just too scared to lose my money :D I just need some guinea pigs to try it before me. Ahem, I meant some trailblazers.

I only saw the last 8 minutes or so of the game, so Gobert looked fantastic. Went back through the game log and box score, and France was pretty awful when Gobert was on the court through 3 quarters. In the 4th, however:

7:54
2-2 field goals
1-1 free throws
5 points
4 rebounds (all defensive)
2 assists
1 block
+17 (I'm not including the free throw made after he checked in, as the foul was committed when he was on the bench)

Croatia was trying to free Tomic on pick and rolls, but Gobert played near perfect defense.

Seriously, Gobert has been the highlight of the offseason for the jazz imo.

About a week ago i was actually looking for a Gobert Jersey to buy from fanzz. (dont have any :()

He seems to play amazing in spurts. The 7 minutes GVC has watched were awesome indeed. He was scoring, passing, defending... but there were also moments when he looked very limited in offense and he gave up probably 3 and-1s prior to that period. Tomic was putting some nice moves against him, too. But he seems to have made some serious improvements to last year indeed. He even started scoring his FTs consistently as well. If he keeps the good work I expect him to really push our other bigs for playing minutes this season.

Thing I noticed from the box score is that Croatia's backup center played as good a game as anyone on the floor (scored 20). Was any of that due to Gobert? Who was guarding Tomic more throughout the game -- Mahinmi or Gobert? Tomic had a pretty forgettable game (box score wise).
