I watched the whole game and the spaniards really seemed to lack energy or interest. They are smart and experienced, of course, but this is not enough. I really think age has something to do with it. Neto played okay in a backup role. He hit an important three, stopping a run by the spaniards (near the end of the first quarter, if I remember it correctly) and had one bad turnover by dribbling into traffic.
I also watched the first half of France against Australia on saturday - when the game was still close. Diaw made some really good passes and made think of Magic Johnson when he came back out of retirement to play PF. He seems chubbier than the last time I saw him, though.

No. I think Durant takes over in the 2nd half. USA leads by 10 at end of 3rd.

Strange box score at the half. USA has 18 more FG attempts and Australia is shooting 68% from the field. USA is at 48% from the 3pt line, and just 37% from the field overall. Australia has 12 TOs, the USA has just 5.

Our USA team really shoots way too many 3 point shots. I like the 3 point shot, but when you have such a huge athletic and size advantage it's embarrassing how many we jack up. Main reason I hate Klay on Team USA. Yeah he is a great player, but he cant get enough shots on Team USA to develop a rhythm and he can't drive or playmake as good as Gordon. Team USA would be much better off with Hayward.

He had a pretty big exhibition game before Olympics began, but yeah they need another guy other than Delly and Mills to score. Broekhoff can sometimes get really hot from 3 and Anderson showed some good shooting though. I expect to see Anderson still on the national team in Tokyo.
