Is Granger not on the market now? I thought I had read that the Pacers would be open to trading him this summer.
Also I'd think if Memo/Jackson could be done, then Memo/Granger could be done too, in principle.
Jackson is a great player, but I also wonder how he and Sloan would get along.
Granger was never on the market. Over the summer, it was rumored that several teams were trying to acquire him. Larry Bird stated quite emphatically that he never considered any of the offers. (One of them was Al Jefferson for Granger straight across.)
Why would Indiana trade Danny Granger? He's their whole team, the face of their franchise, by far their best player, etc.
