Jazz sign Hassan Whiteside

I dont know. Im not really pumped about it. I guess the upside is Utah thinks they have a secret sauce to make these types of players excel and pop.
 
I like this move. He's basically a knock off version of Rudy. Now the Jazz can allow Rudy to play more aggressive too.

I should troll nate all season by constantly bringing up the Jazz +/- in Hassan's minutes in every gamethread.
 
This feels like the Jazz trying to turn a minimum contract signing into a pick at the deadline.

As a player, honestly he’s not that bad. He is a legitimate force at the rim on both ends. He just has to stay there.

I think he’s a better basketball player than Favors fwiw.
 
Our backup center really isn't the problem. They were just victimized by the fact that our guards couldn't stay in front of their guys and our forwards couldn't secure the defensive boards behind when the center left the painted area to help cover defense. Whiteside is alright but we still need a big wing defender who could rebound at the 4 spot.
