Agree. Because there are only so many touches, a team will often have a token 5th starter for 5-8 mins who won't get any looks at the basket and is just there to play defense. Crawford, Ginobli, Metta and many others are better than the guys who start(ed) in front of them.
This was the lineup I foresaw at the beginning of camp. The only question, IMO was whether Millsap would get the nod at SF and push Hayward to SG. Now that Okur is gone, I think Millsap will see limited mins at SF. We have the same 3-man rotation as the trio that ended last year (Derrick, Al, Paul) with Enes initially getting the mins that Elson/Fes received. Hopefully Paul sees he can be more effective as a 6th-man. He should play just as many minutes and will take less pounding. At some point (probably not until next year), I'd like to see Favors and Millsap start with Enes off the bench, and a good, young player as the 4th big. But if Paul has to go instead of Jefferson, so be it.
