Kanter - an actual rotation player - getting 8 minutes is absurd.

Cool win.

He isn't as far along as the other three. Kanter is a liability on the court, the jazz are in contention for a possible 4th seat in the playoffs. After going 2 years of no organized ball it's amazing he is getting any playing time at all. There's nothing absurd about the minutes he's getting now.

Also when Kanter plays well he is always rewarded with more minutes. The problem is he is very inconsistent.

Cool win. Nice to see Ty smiling uncontrollably for the first time since he took of the job. Seems like Kanter will keep having hard times in terms of MPG. Well it's the rookie season and you can't expect anything more than what comes to you. He's in a better shape than he was at the start of the season self-confidence-wise. At least looks like that to me. He didn't have the chance to show his scoring skills in NBA yet -even not in the LA game- but he will complete the filling/fitting in process and become what he's supposed to be soon I hope.

It wasn't even close in terms of best game. The ball movement was beautiful, we had so many open threes and uncontested dunks.

Yep. The one thing he contributes is rebounding. That is what keeps him in games, that and he occasionally plays good defense against stronger centers. He wasn't doing either last night.

That was the first game I've watched in a while when I said "Geez, it feels like the refs are actually in our pocket a little on this one."

Kanter has game and deserves more minutes as a rookie, but Millsap, Jefferson, and Favors all bring more to the table than he does. But he is only 19 years old and his time will come.
