We’re doing the suburban NYC thang, moving out to Essex County. Montclair, West Orange, Maplewood?

My brother-in-law (stepmom’s sister’s husband) lives in Montclair. Very solid schools I think. Excellent high school sports. Great restaurants. And fwiw, because your wife is AA iirc, this dude is black and his son his half, and I’ve never once heard him comment about any sort of racial issues. Diverse school I think.
