We stayed put. We didn't do anything. We ran our off-season like we were the freaking Warriors with key pieces already in place.

If we sit on our hands and suck this year, what a terrible message to send to Gobert and Mitchell.

The offense has devolved into chaotic drives towards the basket to start hot potato until someone either makes a bad pass, or someone shoots a contested shot. We aren't getting any advantage out of Snyder's advantage basketball. Looks more like Jr. Jazz.

This team seems to not have the grit and determination they closed last season with. So far it is getting pretty disturbing on the overall effort front and not fighting to stay in or win games. It's early and they clearly have demonstrated in the past that they can right the ship, but they really need to do some self reflection quickly and get a handle on this season fast.

In all honesty, this is exactly how the beginning of last season felt. A team with no direction and not enough talent to compete. Poor shooting game after poor shooting game until something finally clicked. We're trading easy shots for our opponent with crappy pointless offensive possessions. Nobody looks like they know what to do out there, lost as a blind guy in thick fog...

Teams have figured out the Jazz offensive schemes... it's either burks/mitchell/ingles A) PnR with Gobert/Favors lob or B) pass it to the weakside corner 3 with Gobert/Favors sealing the defender. I swear that's about 80% of the jazz's offensive actions... Unfortunately the ONLY player that can create his own shot on the current roster is Mitchell. Jazz don't have the personnel to take advantage of the freedom of movement changes. Time to upgrade the roster. This team's roster would've been absolutely dominant from 2005-2015. Today's NBA is all offense and the Jazz lack firepower.
