Man, if Hayward had even played remotely decent we'd have a great chance of stealing this.
I think the Jazz are a big reason they're not "on" tonight though...we are a good defensive team after all. If our offense were half as good as our defense tonight, we might have a lead.Yep. To be equally fair, if Curry and/or Thompson were on, it would be an even bigger lead.
everytime Hayward has a chance to make a big momentum changing shot...he puts up a brick.
Did anyone expect for us to have a chance without Gobert vs one of the best teams in the history of the NBA on the road? Not to mention they havent played since Saturday so they have probably had the most rest and preparation time for any game they have played all season.
I keep saying this...Favors needs to be the focal point of our offense. I'm tired of the swinging the ball around the horn for 20 seconds and having Hayward take a ****ty desperation shot. Get the ball down low to Favors early in the clock and see what happens.
Jazz just don't have much offensive talent when it comes down to it. They don't have a guy who can just reliably create offense for himself or others.
That said, without Curry the W's might not even be a playoff team. He's everything for their offense, like Harden is for Houston.
