I wouldn't read into it like that. I think they just want to work players out. Teams like working guys out so they have an up close look at players. Jazz are in a unique position of being in basically all draft rangers besides the top 3-4, so they can get a first look at basically anyone they want.
 
Gradey Dick did, in fact, find his way to the Jazz's practice facility.

And what they see will likely determine which picks they want to keep.
