Who's "racing like a pro"? I don't understand why it's so hard to tell everyone who you are...even after a second chance!

I merged the two threads together on this.

Re: Cali's league

Thanks for re-upping it. I have no problem with the rules change and hope no one decides to try and get you to change the rules mid-season because they don't like the results this year. I fully anticipate winning for the second year in a row by doing exactly what I did last year: outworking everyone else.

Also, through luck of the draw it appears Archie and I play in week one. Grudge match!

Re: Pay league

Any chance we could up the stakes?

There's a few people in the league that I have no idea who they are. It would be nice if a prerequisite to join the league was by minimal post of a 100 on jazzfanz or something like that. I'm sure there are some regular posters who haven't seen this thread yet that would love to join.

Also, if that doesn't work, I'm planning on making a 20 man league if anyone is interested, PM me.

If mid-season means after the first or second week. *rolls eyes* What a ****.

I don't want to open this can of worms again Archie. Needless to say, if you change the rules at any point after the season starts the effect is still the same because it changes the way people would have drafted their teams and all their roster moves up to that point.

It certainly is suspicious when the move is aimed at one particular player and that player is in first place at the time.

This season why don't you commish the league that you commish and let cali commish his own league? Maybe even read the rules for the league before you join so you're not surprised two to three weeks in when it's different than you assume.

I would say $50 would be my max.

So why did YOU bring it up?

The subject of changing the rules mid-season was brought up in the first post in the thread. My comment was responsive to that.

If there are any objections, speak up now because none of them will be changed after the draft (again, to avoid a repeat of last year's problems)

I didn't independently bring it up Archie.
