I was considering making a Dr. Who thread, but might as well derail this one instead.
No, I do not consider Amelia Pond the best. I think she was one of the hottest, but other than that one of the very very worst.
Of course Sarah Jane was pretty much as good as it gets.
Other than Sarah Jane I really like the current one, Clara Oswald (because I think she's probably the most attractive woman on TV ATM).
But the bigger issue to me is Steven Moffat. He is horrible. He took over as showrunner the season Amelia Pond was introduced. I think he's pretty good at coming up with concepts fr episodes and completely terrible at coming up for resolutions. Most of the time it's 55min of playing out the initial concept and 5 minutes of pure magic with abilities and such that were never established during the episode, they just poof into existence as the only way to solve the problem and bam, problem solved...on to the next episode. That isn't Dr. Who, to me. That's garbage SciFi.
