We definitely have a need for a forward. I think we'll likely see some changes on that front, most likely Brantley.

funny how the jazz management always gets criticized for not making enough personnel moves, but when they do, they make those moves in a such erroneous/head-scratching way that would somehow led the fans to believe that they shouldn't make any moves to begin with.

I think the reason has to do with his shooting.

There has to be something more to this to waive him. He either did something the team doesn't like or he requested it. I guess a third option is another trade coming in tomorrow. That seems surprising to me though. We could just waive him as part of the trade.

niang is fine enough not to be an "off-court" problem, but niang, who's spent a couple of seasons here already, is simply better liked character in the lockerroom. jeff even mentioned in an interview moments before getting waived that he had some issues adjusting to the new atmosphere in Utah.

i mean, would anyone honestly believe that the team chose niang over him simply because niang is a better player?

and we are not a charity organization either. if jeff personally requested to be waived so he could join Lebron in LA and DL granted his wish, this clown needs to step down ASAP before him turning us into a complete joke.

It takes a lot of moves to cover up your mistakes. It grows exponentially as you gut your team of 1st round talent/picks.

I applaud their courage to move on quickly from mistakes, but wonder why they keep making so many.

From what I read on real gm , a tweet from tony jones suggests the jazz want Brantley on the floor now , and are also happy with Niang and want more minutes for him ..

nothing against Green , but he didn’t offer us much ... the lack of rebounding from him made him redundant
