Can we give them Lyles again? Better yet, the rights to Tibor and Grant Jarrett. That way we got Crowder and Rubio for the S&T with Hayward and Kanter.

Theory here... I think the reason this is taking so long is that NO ONE has been able to get a deal done with Danny Ainge. They haven't been able to land an important trade in 2 years. Remember last year's draft when they had 8 picks in the draft and they ended up drafting at all 8 positions because they couldn't get a deal done?!?!?!?! Ha ha ha. Dennis Lindsey had 4 picks and ended up moving twice in the same draft including closing a lottery deal. Ainge tried and failed numerous times.

My bet is that his starting price was absurd... say asking for Gobert, Diaw's non-guaranteed, plus 5 first round picks for S&T deal with Hayward. In exchange they would give us all of the guys that they have to cut in order to sign Haygfart but no actual assets. If that's where it started, then DL will hopefully be able to make it work. But again, NO TEAM has been able to get a deal done with the Celtics. In fact, I wonder if the rest of the East intentionally doesn't work with them and they have to cut 7 guys to make Hayward part of their club.

Where is the list at of guys that the Celtics are ready and willing to dump to get Hayward?

All that was really needed was a "oh man sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'll edit it". And that was it.

Keep in mind he ultimately apologized and edited it anyway. Why not just do that from the outset? Especially if you meant no harm?
