Man, the jazz Facebook page is the worst. So many people pissed off about the jazz players predicted kneeling.

One good thing about all this protest is that people are actually excited to watch the freaking anthem to see what's going to happen lol.

Nobody cared about it before. No one watched the anthem at home and the people at the games would robotically stand. Now it's getting tons of attention!

Also, I noticed KUTV shared a story on their news page on Facebook about it, and I’m guessing that’s where a lot of the idiots infiltrating the comment sections came from tbh.

Also, why do this during the anthem at all? Why not before that during pregame or even post game take a knee in solidarity and just leave the anthem out of it? Would probably be a lot more accepted and the message that is trying to be conveyed wouldn't be lost in controversy.

No one would give a ****. The controversy creates the visibility.

Also, I'll just say it: America deserves much worse disrespect than anything he's shown. We are a **** people with a **** government to show for it, and that's not new.

You do realize he did this while starting as well, right? When did a song or piece of material become more important than the lives and freedom of Americans? In the end it doesn’t matter who he is or why he did what he did. If it sheds light on what’s going on, that’s all that matters. The only thing I know for sure is that Kap isn’t the only flawed human being. This means you have to also make light of what MLK did, Ali, and others
