I would do it, but I don't think Portland would.
I do think Lillard is that good though.
Lately I've been realizing how narrow the difference between Curry and Lillard is.

I've been thinking about this since I posted the idea. I think I'd probably do it, broughs. Dame is a killer. And Hayward would be an excellent complement to his game. Dame would love Gobert backing him. Dame/Hood/Hay/Lyles is LOTS of space.
If you think the space-and-pace era is here for a while, then I think you do that trade.
I agree, though, Portland doesn't do it. That's probably not because the prize winnings aren't good enough (that's a pretty good haul); I just don't think he's touchable until/if they strike out in Free Agency.
You are the worst poster ever.
Hey guis, wut do you think of my completely implausible trade idea that I don't support.
Hilarious. that's so weak. Grow some balls man. You have no right to talk trash to me when you be posting garbage like this.
The window to get Lillard closed a long time ago. The time to load up on high potential talent has already passed us. We are pretty much all in on this team. I seriously doubt the organization has the cojones to make any big changes now.
If the Jazz were smart they would have traded AL and Millsap, and tanked, instead of chasing the 8th seed. We could have drafted Lillard ourselves that year because we would have kept our pick, AND most likely bumped GS past that 8th spot and we would have had that pick as well. It was a complete screw up the way they handled the situation then. It was obvious that this would happen. They half assed the tank job, and didn't get much out of it.
This is what you get when you have bad organization Philosophy.
I don't think I'd do it because Lyles would just get destroyed on the defensive end.
That said, my initial two thoughts on this. Gobert and moreso, Exum, are overrated by this board.
I'd consider trading anyone.
Having said that, keep the core intact, get healthy, get pissed off this summer and work harder than they ever have in their lives, and win 57 games next year.
I get what he is saying.explain how exactly is Gobert overrated?!!
I think I'd rather have him, and he'd be a lot cheaper to get.If Blazers trade anyone, it would be McCollum.
Not ready to let Exum go until we know exactly what we've got there.
It seems to me the Jazz have a lot riding on a lot of players eventually reaching their potential, while having two players that perform with any consistency (Hayward and Gobert). At some point, how good a player actually is needs to be considered, and the Jazz could use a player like Lillard in the worst way.
It's intriguing. But I doubt Portland seriously considers it.
Favors is pretty darn consistent, no? I feel like this year he was.
You're toxic.
I don't feel he is. Here are his points for the games he played: 26, 20, 18, 6, 6, 12, 17, 25, 5, 23, 18, 18, 11, 22, 23, 12, 35, 14, 20.
His rebounds fluctuate as well. He's not all that consistent.
I get what he is saying.
Some jazz fans think of Gobert as the same caliber as jimmy butler, kahwi Leonard, Anthony Davis, etc... In other words, a superstar.
He's was playing like a superstar last year. He's not having as good of a year. He was legitimately one of the best defenders last year.
I believe in Gobert. He'll find some rhythm again.
Part of the problem is that the team still isn't trying to get Gobert involved in the offense. Which is a mistake I think. Maybe it's because we don't have good enough point guard play.
