Kamala Harris for Pres

“But thrill! You need to respect those cheering this in this video. They aren’t disgusting pigs. They’re just innocent lil Americans who are economically anxious and just don’t know what type of person they’re supporting. Let’s coddle them and seek to understand them and don’t you ever dare judge them ill or hold them to any standard!”

What the **** is wrong with the people of our country? Nearly half of us still like this guy which means we are almost assuredly doomed.

What percentage of the population are eligible to vote? Of those, what percentage actually do vote? Of THOSE, what percentage vote for Trump?

Certainly far less than 50% total.

If you take the best estimate of US population at being around 340 million, Tump got less that 25 percent of the vote (74 million), now that's not including kids and people (African American people) who are disqualified from voting. Still only 155 million out of 340 million voted, however the US only has around 165 million registered voters. That's ****ing nuts less than have the country is enfranchised, its like something of of Victorian Britain.

The nation of the United States exists beyond any individual and certainly isn't, in my humble opinion, reserved only for those who were fortunate enough to be born within its boarders. The United States belongs to humanity and should serve the interests of humanity. That's my take anyway.

Great post. I love your sentiment that we don't own the USA, we are merely temporary citizens of it. We should control our borders but the spirit of the USA is that we welcome everyone regardless of where they come from or what color they may be.
I’ve always liked the attitude that America is a work in progress, not a finished product.

To be more precise, according to the 2020 census there are 258 million adults in the US. Around 8% are felons, so take away another 19 million, and that leaves 239 million possible voters. Round down to maybe 235 million to account for people incapable of voting really, incapacitated or otherwise handicapped. So only 155 million of 235 million voted. That's actually a higher percentage than I expected, at 66%. Still 80 million didn't vote. Hard to say what percentage of those would have been "throw-away" votes, like any Democrats in Utah, due to the electoral college. Not sure what the likelihood was of enough of those 80 million being in a state where that would have swayed the election. Although this is a more clear picture of the willing self-disenfranchised.

“As well as running the ad nationally Saturday in Week 6 of the well watched 2024 college football season, the increasingly punchy Harris-Walz campaign plan to have a “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate” displaying plane fly over Bryant-Denny stadium during the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide game. Trump himself is expected to be among the over 100,000 attendees at the gridiron match-up”.

Wow! This is good. I’d love to see Mitt Romney and George W Bush do the same soon. It would really be something to see the former GOP Pres candidate and the last GOP president endorse Trump’s political opponent, Vice President Harris.
While I don't agree with what @The Thriller is saying, this is a good post. There are no personal attacks and no group disparagements.

And Republicans think that is too many voters

In some states (I don't know offhand how many) a simple felony conviction does not bar you from voting. For example, In NY, it's only while you're incarcerated in prison that you cannot vote, but once you're released, you can.

I know because I was trying to see if the meme that Trump can't vote is correct. If he was convicted in FL, he couldn't, but FL law says to check the state someone was convicted in.

lol, I was just thinking of adding that to our Sunday morning Trump comedy threads. And it made me think of his “beautiful body” comment too. We think alike, ya beat me to it!

The more he wanders, (or “weaves” as he puts it, his “oratorical genius”), the more he cannot really be taken seriously. He’s telling his audience he has no real respect for them, they’re not even worth preparing his thoughts for in advance, after all. And, of course, the more he comes across as having a scrambled brain. Babbles on, no substance whatsoever. His campaign speeches are more painful than ever. It’s almost all “off the top” now, and there really isn’t much between the ears to pull that off!

Since a President is now above the law... if The Rapist wins the election Biden should just stay in office on the grounds that The Rapist is a threat to democracy. As his official duty to protect the United States from all threats from outside or within Biden can do whatever the hell he sees fit.

What the hell is he even talking about here? This should be front page news and republicans every where should be asked questions about Trump’s cognitive decline. Who are the morons who see this and think, “Yep. This is my dude! Gimmie four more years of this!”

I watched the clip. He's joking. Admittedly with him it's hard to tell but it's pretty obvious that when he mentioned the fly, people laughed, so he just riffed off that. I wish people wouldn't post videos like this because it gives Trumpers fuel to say "see everything he says is super-nuanced and deep or a joke, you people exaggerate everything". Just post the legitimate crazy **** and you'd still have plenty to fuel an entire YouTube channel.
