What the hell is he even talking about here? This should be front page news and republicans every where should be asked questions about Trump’s cognitive decline. Who are the morons who see this and think, “Yep. This is my dude! Gimmie four more years of this!”
It’s not the best example of how the third time around is going. But, just from my own perspective, it’s more apparent then ever that in this, his third try, from the perspective of intellect, he brings nothing to the table, and has no intention of doing so. He can’t. He can speak for hours without mentioning anything of substance, and supported with lies. His entire campaign is another effort to pull the wool over people’s eyes. There is only one message: elect Trump, the nation’s problems will be solved, peace will break out, Trump is the only choice that can ensure happy endings home and abroad. Elect Harris, not only will there be no happy endings, the ensuing collapse of anything good about life will be a true dire ending, probably, to borrow his frequent phrase, “like nothing ever seen before!”.
It’s a much stronger dystopian vision and use of fear as a motivation, imo, than Democratic warnings that Trump is a danger to democratic institutions. Nobody is going to out-doomsday Trump. But, I agree with LogGrad98, this wasn’t a great example of his truly mindless wandering.
I’m not sure it displays cognitive decline, though, as much as belief this type of campaign will work a third time. When you have nothing to offer(he doesn’t), don’t want to study issues( he can’t be bothered, and he knows best at all times anyway), a “just give me back the god**** office!” is your mindset, and there’s enough people out there buying into this truly “empty-headed” bs for years now, he’s apparently believing his lack of any depth doesn’t matter, his personality and following will carry him to victory.
But it’s the third time. And is it ever getting stale. And boring. And depressing. I think the lack of any substance whatsoever has never been more stark. It’s time to realize the emperor has no clothes. It’s never been easier to do so than it is in this 2024 campaign.
