Kamala Harris for Pres

Sorry for the multiple posts. I wanted to catch up.

Here are my general thoughts. Respond if you want.

1. Kamala is nobody's first choice, obviously. It's still better than Joe Biden staying in the race and like I said before, its possible that the best dem candidates don't want to waste their budding political capital on a campaign this year, under these circumstances. It's also possible that they may not want to put their name out there in the name of party unity. (**** you Joe Manchin)

2. With that said. Trump is a historically disliked candidate. Biden won in 2020 because people hate him. Dems don't need their best to beat him. You just need to be better than Hilary Clinton in 2016 and Trump is no longer the outsider candidate. He has all of the baggage of his first admin, Jan. 6th and a felony conviction.

3. The progressive caucus, the politicians who most closely align with working-class interests, were pushing for Joe to stay. I think this is because they were going to get concessions after showing him they were his strongest allies. Obviously, Brandon couldn't stay but the one endorsed by him may still be grateful for the loyalty shown. It's wishful thinking but I hope that we get some more momentum towards an even more progressive and Socdem forward admin.

4. Overall, my attitude is to wait and see how things play out. Kamala has no charisma but hopefully she stays off of the Xanax and we all can see an aggressive and confident woman unburdened by what has been.

5. @The Thriller Chill TF out. I'm pretty sure many of us here complaining that Kamala sucks still agrees that she's better than Brandon, and leagues better than Trump. Getting after the posters because they don't immediately get behind the decisions made by the DNC is crazy because they objectively suck, like all the time. We can hate the dems and still end up voting for them because we can, surprisingly, hold two thoughts in our head at the same time. Give us some credit.
I’m fine with people not loving Harris. I certainly don’t. I’m tired of the mindless trolling that goes on. I’m blocking those who are just stupid. If moderators aren’t going to enforce standards then posters need to do so. Make the trolls pay a price.

Kamala has that Bitch factor.

"Much of Harris' staff has turned over in the past 3½ years.
About half of the vice president's staff is paid by the Senate, which requires regular disclosures. Of the 47 Harris staffers listed in 2021, only five still worked for her as of this spring, according to the disclosures. Her full staff list is not publicly disclosed."

The problem is that sometimes your definition of troll is a bit too confined (not sure if that's the right word)

I mean steak and eggs is a huge difference from other posters. And I can understand a few others being considered trolls as well.

But posters like hearsky are no where close to trolls. You just got triggered way too easily in that instance. Sometimes you need to show a bit more tolerance.

Like there is a chance you might call me a troll and put me on ignore for this post.
