It sounds like you have no clue who RFK is, mate.

Dude is more in-line with Trump's base than a the usual Dems as his ******** peddling is something they eat right up. An antivaxxer is a non-starter for almost every traditional Dem voter out there. If you can't wrap your head around that, well, that's on you.
Damn, I’m so confused, he is more in-line with Trumps base? Let’s see what Trump said a couple months ago:

Seems like Trump is more anti-vax than RFK and more pro-vax than Biden at the same time.

Or out of his own mouth:

Agree with him, not antivax, just make sure they are properly tested.
I’m not anti-modern medicine, but we have major problems in health care:

Maybe more yearly training, testing, 2nd opinions, ect.

If Kamala, Trump and RFK are the options, it’s still an easy choice for me.

It'll be interesting to see who she picks as her VP running mate. I think Kelly from Arizona would be a smart pick. Josh Shapiro is another good choice. She should pick whomever her pick is sooner than later.

I agree, she was chosen because she's black and a woman. I remember at the time thinking how ridiculous it was that they chose her and how ridiculous it was that if old man Biden croaked she would suddenly be our President.

I mean that wasn't a secret. Biden said it waaaay before she was chosen. I don't think he even liked her, if i remember correctly she ripped into him during their primaries for being racist pretty much.

She doesn’t have to be the most well liked. She just has to beat Trump. Why are people always focusing on her faults and never on Trump’s?

I suspect that no matter who the Democrats find, there will be faults. And if people just focus on those and never on Trump, then I guess Trump will win no matter who the Democrats choose.

This isn't about Trump, it's about fielding the candidate who has the best chance to win. We can't afford to **** this up.

He chaired Children’s Health Defense. Look them up and have a nice day.

Folks bashing Harris for being a DEI while supporting Trump’s pick of Mike Pence… lol. What was pence to Trump? The token white Christian who could soften Trump’s edges and win over evangelicals. What were his qualifications again? A failed governor who was going to lose his election in Indiana?

Our totally neutral posters are going out of their way to bash Harris and Democrats while ignoring Trump and all of his many flaws. So predictable.
Ya the pence pick wasn't due to qualifications. It was to get the old guard on board. And it was smart.
Now he chose Vance who isn't very experienced because Vance is a total sycophant.
I don't think either choice was because they were the most deserving of the job.

I also don't think Kamala was the choice because she was the most deserving. I think it was to help get more POC and female votes. Which is a smart thing to do.

Kamala will get criticized for not being deserving and pence and Vance will not. Because this is America (and the planet Earth) where women and POC will always get criticized a bit extra.

I saw that interview when it aired and Amna Nawaz was not at all impartial with RFK. It pissed me off at the time.

Oh please. Trump choose Pence because he shored up his Evangelical creds, which he was sorely lacking at the time. DEI selection by your logic. Clinton chose Gore as his running mate as Gore shored up something Clinton was lacking at the time: family value appeal. Hell, Ross Perot back in the mid 90s chose retired Adm. Stockdale because it gave him some "military cred". Reagan chose Bush Sr. because he had deep government experience, which Reagan lacked at the time. Every Veep is initially selected during the first term for some reason or another. It does not change the fact they were the ****ing Vice President (except for Stockdale, he just reiterates the point).
So what did Kamala bring?

Pence - governing
Gore - Family
Perot - Military
Bush - Government Experience

Again, Biden already had Family, Government. She didn’t bring Military, Government or Family.

What were her qualifications?
