Kanter and Favors possibly starting tonight

If Jeremy gets more than 5 minuets than I will be upset. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with the team paying him over a million dollars a year to be Gordon's friend and to dunk in garbage time, but Marvin is a much better backup power forward than Jeremy is, and I think he might actually be better in that role.

One caveat to this is if Carroll is out for tonight, because that will mean that Marvin will need to spend more time at the 3.

Dude, no offense, but you couldn't be more wrong. Jeremy is way better than Marvin. That really bugs me people cant see it. Too much emphasis is put on strengh by some people. This is basketball. There are more important things. Namely heart. Jeremy has ten times the heart Marvin does. Marvin is just trying not to do wrong.

Jeremy does a lot of things well. He is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. He can give you put backs that no one else can. He plays higher above the rim than anyone else. Believe it or not, that is worth something. Ya, he mostly just dunks, but who gives a fack. 2 points is 2 points. Who cares how it comes. In fact a dunk is a lot higher percentage shot anyways. So what the fack is the problem?

Lastley Jeremy has been working on his shot. I think he deserves a chance to show it.

If he gets his chance, watch my man ball.

Another lose lose for our young guys. If they do well and we win the narrative will be "eh, its the Bobcats." If they lose it will be "SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE we told you guys they weren't ready!!! TOLD YOU SO!!"

Same thing with Favors the other night.

Favors puts up numbers when he starts and we win (for example against the GSW and Sixers) it gets dismissed. If he puts up big numbers and we lose, its "empty stats."

lmao

Thats why I have already put it out there that its not fair to them because they don't have a good bench to help them out.

I think you're way off. Evans hurts the team more than he helps. He blocks shots, but he cannot defend his man, and if he can't get open dunks, he's a complete liability on the offensive end. He's a good option for garbage time when the game is free and loose. But for normal circumstances, Marvin is a far better option, and it's not even close.

If Corbin's starting Kanter and Favors, he might as well start Hayward and Carroll too. Kanter and Favors with Foye and Marvin is going to be ugly.

Offense taken, sorry. Jeremy is nowhere near the talent that Marvin is, and heart is great for your tenth to fourteenth player on the court, but talent is much more important to a playoff team. And who says that Marvin doesn't have heart? I believe that if Corbin would change the offense to a more modern style where the guards and forwards are the first option than he would get a lot more scoring done. Whenever I see Jeremy on the floor he looks like he's lost and has no idea how to play. Yeah, he can dunk. So can Marvin, and they are very similar sizes except for Marvin has some bulk to him so he can actually defend a 4.

I had typed the following out before I realized there was a second page to this thread.

"Need to start Carroll, Burks and Hayward with them, and let the "starters" take on the second unit. They are starters, so it should be easy peasy for them against meer bench players"

Ummmm maybe you should re-read your bible!!!

Hahahaha... funny... yes I guess technically he did come twice, once with the birth and then with the resurrection... Do you want to count the "third" coming as well?

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
