What's new

Kanter said what?!?!?!

Lol last post. If I had been a player and all I had ever known was the Jazz over the past 3 years I would have hated it too. Like it or not the jazz have been one of the worst franchises since the breakup of Boozer, Okur, duron, and Jslo. It has been a nightmare.

As a fan it's been a nightmare. This past month or so has been a slight break in what has otherwise been a dark night.

This is all true, but the wound is fresh righ now and I'm ****ing pissed.

Seriously guys, I'm just glad he's gone. I don't care about his reasons, I don't care if he's right or wrong, I don't care if he fails or succeeds. I never liked his game nor his attitude, and I stated that I'd be happy to let him go for nothing as I consider it addition by subtraction. Now once Trey follows suit, there won't be any remaining Jazz players whom I don't like. But, hey, there's always hope Exum will be that guy.

Seattle/OKC wasn't the team or franchise they were when KD and Westbrook were on their rookie contracts either and all they knew was losing and while the example is exactly the same it is similar and guess what those players still managed to tough it out and they were tough enough to change things themselves instead of looking for others to blame and/or change things for him.

See with me, I loved his game, obviously, but it feels like **** to have been right about his offensive potential under the circumstance.

I don't know if he is thinking beyond his own ill feelings, but he's saying is reinforcing a negative image on our organization as a free agent destination. We lost out on talent, and thn talent is out there bad mouthing us. **** that.

What a sorry ****. You're getting paid millions and not bringing it every night? What a sorry dude, I actually liked him too, but not anymore. Thank you OKC for the first-round pick and Pleiss. Glad we got something for him instead of him just walking.

Utah is one of the most beautiful and clean states in the country.

Gobert destroy this sorry *** tonight.

And this is the first time I’ve felt like playing basketball there, for my team, for the fans, for my teammates, for coaches, for everybody.

Thanks for nothing, Enes.

I agree with all of The Thriller's posts in this thread. It's exactly how I felt reading the posts prior to reading his.

I felt just like Kanter having to endure those years with Corbin. We got Booker because we didn't realize Rudy was going to break out like he has, and yes, a 3-some of Rudy, Favors, and Kanter with a positive attitude would've been awesome.

But it's water over the damn, and we better watch out tonight with Favors likely not going to play.

Yep.

But can you blame talent for speaking negatively over their experience here?

Is there another franchise in this country that would've played Josh Howard, Richard Jefferson, and Marvin Williams ahead of Hayward, Burks, and Kanter?

Let's face it, the Jazz for 3 years couldn't make up their mind what they wanted to do. Maintain mediocrity? Or finally rebuild? And once they decided to rebuild, they stuck with an incompetent coach for 1 year too long who wasted an entire year rather than develop young talent. Of course, I don't blame Corbin. Why should he have wanted to develop Kanter knowing that he wouldn't be his coach next year?

Totally mismanaged.

Was it cool for Kanter to spout off? No.

But is he wrong about anything he said? Hell no

Everything he said was what this entire board has been saying for 3+Years

Thanks for nothing, Enes.

I once was benched in favor of the coach's son, who sucked. I hated basketball for a while after that.

I can only imagine Kanter's frustration seeing Marvin Williams start over him for most of last year.
