Ok, so DL acquired two 2nds for 1/2 year of Novak. Not sure what your complaint is. Because he overpaid? meh.

How so? Including Novak in this trade may have cost the Jazz something (i.e. they might have received an additional 2nd if not for Novak's inclusion).

Mario Hezonja, potential top 5 draft pick this year, in the Euroleague this year: 5.5 PPG, 2 RPG, 1.4 APG. In the ACB, he's averaging 9PPG but the same numbers otherwise.

What are/were these players respective ages?

It's easy to say that about Novak in hindsight, but based on where the Jazz were today are you seriously saying their best move would have been to do nothing except letting Kanter go for nothing in the off season?

No, I'm only saying that option would still be available. The Jazz could also re-sign Kanter or sign-and-trade Kanter in the offseason, and try to get a deal better than a late 1st three years down the road.

I was just sick of reading about how ****ty he thinks our management is. I have a higher view of the management, and see the trade from a different light. I brought up the Hayward thing because that quote if gvc liking Babbitt over Hayward has been around a few tines, and not only that,

but he said it was a huge mistake to match Haywards max offer. Can you imagine how bad it would have been for the team if we didn't match Haywards offer? Judging from Haywards play thus year, he is clearly worth it.

Pretty much everyone here except me thought Hayward wasn't worth more than $11mm. Why are you singling out one poster (who has most likely admitted that thus far he was wrong on the signing)?
