I disagree. This season I often see him Keyonte doing something positive on defense and I did not see it last year. He also stopped complaining and pouting after the failed offensive posession: instead he busts his tail to get back on defense.

Key's improvement on the defensive side this year was no less drastic then his offensive growth: he was already pretty good on offense last season but on defense he started from a much lower base.

His defensive rating is still massively bad but it’s also massively improved. Hopefully it continues to get better over the next two years. If so he at least won’t be a massive liability

No guard in the league is going to have a good defensive rating when their team has no rim protection to speak of.

Yes pick the game where he was sick and not 100% probably not focused 100% because he was sick in a game the jazz got blown out.
