No shot you’re taking Cason over KeyonteWallace. The list isn’t long. I was elated he was there for the Jazz pick.

I probably am. Like 51/49. It’s not Keyonte shade to say that he isn’t and probably won’t be a plus defender and that Wallace’s role on a juggernaut suggests both that he plays a more winning game and that he could have much louder counting stats on a lesser team.No shot you’re taking Cason over Keyonte
He would not be doing what Keyonte is doing offensively with the load he has.Cason is cool and all, but he's a terrible offensive player. He fits their system well, but he would struggle to contribute offensively on a lot of teams.
He wouldn’t. But he’s 10x the defensive player. He would not be doing what Keyonte is doing offensively with the load he has.
Another thing with Cason, he's the 3rd best player on his team at his role. Caruso/Dort are both better.
Agreed, even as a huge Cason Wallace homer, although I think the list of current teams who would prefer Cason over Keyonte would be quite big, but it's really an apples and oranges comparison.I could see some teams in certain situations taking Cason over Keyonte, but if you were starting a team from scratch with that draft class no way in hell would anyone take Cason over Keyonte
No, I'm saying his role isn't solely on him. Most teams will have one, maybe two defensive first defenders. OKC has 3 at the same position, so each has an easier job if they didn't have that depth. And yes, he is the worse of the 3. That's not a diss, it just is. I don't really care about slight differences in DBPM.Cason has the highest DBPM on the team and the second highest in the league, leads the league in steals as well, and has a better on/off defense than Dort. If he's worse than Caruso and Dort, it's not by much, and it's not saying much as those are two of the top non big defensive players in the game.
