Kirilenko : October MVP Euroleague

Logo, you blame it all on AK. Sure, he shares in it, but we've been over this time and again ... Both Jerry and DWill contributed to what happened with AK.

I didn't blame it all on AK. This is a thread about AK, why would I go on and on about Boozer and his ****ty *** defense here? I just said that AK had what it takes to be a game changer. It could have been a real shot in the arm. But it would have been hard to get over the hump with Boozer playing matador defense and CJ ever seeing playing time. But still, we did well and could have done that much better without AK bawling instead of balling.

Who wouldn't want AK on his team with a reasonable salary? I am sure there will be lots of teams in nba to offer him a very good deal once lockout is over

This just shows how much his ego drives him. The year he was our ONLY good player really he shined, All-star, top tier stats, etc. When he was just expected to play decent ball without being the center of the universe he collapsed into a fit of tears and whinyness. He is seriously mentally weak and IMO should just stay in Russia. He will be much happier, much more productive, can pretend he is the only basketball player in the world, and won't have to worry about *gasp* competing for accolades with other highly-talented players.

His ego drives him to the point of donating every dollar he earns playing basketball overseas to a childrens charity? Really??? I read your other post and loved it when you said, "REAL STARS DONT POUT AND CRY WHEN THEY DONT GET WHAT THEY DESERVE". OMG! Do you even know what this lockout is about??? HAHAHAAHAHA This freakin guy is killin me!! Let me repeat it.
"Real Stars dont pout and cry when they dont get what they deserve."
This whole lockout you idiot is players wanting more money that they dont have entitled to them. The lead voices of the P.A. are stars!!!!! You moron!!!! Plus with you saying that "real stars dont pout and cry when they dont get what they deserve". <--- Your admitting right there that Kirelinko is a star. And he deserves everthing he has been pouting about. Just list your address below and I will make sure that myself and the rest of the Jazz fanz community sends boxes of coloring books and crayons WITH YOUR NAME ON THEM!!!! WOW!!!! Hopefully this will keep you from sneaking on mommy and daddys computer to get on this site and post comments that make you look handicapped. Pin the blue ribbon apon his chest!!!!! Good Job!!!! 2 Thumbs Up 4 You!!!!!! 3 out of 5 Stars!!!!!!! No the Ice cream truck doesnt take your parents stolen debit card, but it does come with a non-english speaking fellow thats willing to give you a lift! Where ever you wish apon a star!!!!!!!!

I love how you are trying to be smart and clever but you are not on point at all. The mommy and daddy computer bit is played out and your exclamation marks wreak of stupidity. Don't respond to this because the thought of me having to read anything remotely similar to that pile of **** post makes me want to kill puppies.

Couple of nice posts from logGrad here and in his follow-up.

AK is a classic "tweener" in the NBA. He doesn't have the skills or shooting ability to play SF and he's just not big enough to withstand the pounding in the NBA at PF. The CBA is full of 6'5" PF's and 6'2" SG's who put up amazing stats every night. And it's the same with Euro ball. AK is a "big" forward in his league. He's got the talent to get rebounds, block some shots and utilize his crazy drive to the hoop. In the NBA, he gets exposed when play gets a little physical. He can't afford to play off his man because EVERY team has FIVE guys who can hit shots (well, nearly every team). I was so tired of seeing AK sag back and the opposing SF hit jump shot after jump shot, or play up and get taken off the dribble. AK has a good game and physique to be successful in Euro ball. As for the NBA, he's lost a step and an inch or so of jumping ability. And that was what made him a rising star 8 years ago. His time is now past as anything but an overpriced role player.

Ok slapper. Name 3 other players that were or are all-stars who let their performance drop by damn-near half after another "star" joined their team then cried about not getting more touches in a post-game interview during the playoffs.

We can wait.

Crying about entitlements such as playing time and the role on the team is in no way comparable to the lock-out. The lock-out is occurring because a labor group that creates the product being sold feels they are not getting enough of the profits from the sale of that product. At its core this is the same labor dispute in every single strike/lock-out that has ever happened in the history of unions in this country. It is no different than the auto-workers striking because they feel their wage is not fair compared to the profits generated by the sales of automobiles by the car companies. It is no different than a company locking out their workers when they couldn't reach a contract to put pressure on the union. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with a spoiled kid mad that his declining production is not being rewarded with a bigger role on the team.

Like I said, I am happy for AK. I have generally always liked AK and thought he had the tools to be the game-changer so often, but he just never brought it with the Jazz. Hopefully he can get the accolades he craves in Russian. And I don't care if we ever see him back in a Jazz uniform.

The basic breakdown between the two sides in this dispute I believe is the "why" as in why AK cried but that has been argued over more than I care to remember so I digress.

This is endless debate between fans who think it is all AK's problem and between fans who saw what Sloan and partialy Deron Williams did to his career. Getting old. Let it go. AK is a happy man now.
