I dont understand something. There are only 12 football games in a season. How would a Pac-16 conference be able to have all the teams play eachother? I was under the impression that all teams in each conference played everyone once. But maybe I am just totally off here.
Seriously? Ever hear of a Conference Championship Game? It's what happens when a conference with more than 10 teams divides into divisions. All the teams in one division play each other. The winner of both divisions play in a "championship game". For an example, please refer to the SEC and the old Big 12.
