Not a massive fan of Kyrie in Utah but would it be fair to say that his hero ball game could be due to never having a competent coach at NBA level? Would he 'buy in' to Quin's style of play?

I'm not saying fans shouldn't act that way, but when we act that way then turn around and expect absolute loyalty it's hypocritical.
And it has nothing to do w/ Hayward currently, it's about trading players to get someone else. It's to the current players we have. So yeah, while we are constantly thinking about players we'd rather have on the team, players are also thinking about teams they'd rather be on. Loyalty only exist when those 2 things line up.
I'm not arguing what it would take to get him or how hard it would be to re-sign him I'm arguing that someone would have to be an idiot not to want him or to think he sucks. But we have a far better shot at resigning them. So, either we are talking about trading Kyrie a year from now or another offseason of meltdown a year later leaving us where we are now as I'm guessing we lose either Gobert or DM. CLE could find better offers then X and Hood or favors and a late first. Lmao!!

What are his stats without lebron?Does he suck? All signs point to yes when he doesnt have Daddy LeBron carrying him (which I'm sure his aware of which is why he wants out to prove those stats wrong).

It's something like the Cavs have a worse net rating than the Lakers when Irving plays and Lebron is on the bench.
So when lebron is on the bench then the cavs are not as good. Strange.
Its quite simple really. Kyrie is a 25 year old 4 time all star coming off a year averaging 25 ppg shooting over 47% from the field, over 40% from 3, and over 90% from the line. Those numbers dont suck at all.
averages 6 assists and 2.5 turnover per game. Not bad at all.
Every fan of almost every team should want him on their team.
Yes, but when you have an All-Star on the floor who is supposedly as good as Irving, he should be able to lead a unit better. It is strange.
To a point I agree that Irving is selfish, but as NBA fans isnt this what we should want?
We complain about "super teams" and those only exist because of unselfishness of star players. Don't we want it to become more in vogue to do what Irving is doing? We should hope Klay Thompson has a similar line of thought when he becomes a free agent.
Except fans who like to win and don't have Lebron James on their team.
What kind of sample size we talking about? Lebron averaged 38 minutes per game last season and kyrie averaged 35. I know they both start together. and finish the game together. How many minutes per game is kyrie on the court with lebron on the bench? Im curious.

Kyrie might fit on the court, but he won't want to be here and I'm sure he'd be a problem... then you factor in what we'd have to trade for him and it is an easy pass for me.
