They'll hire him to be the towel and water boy for Kobe. Bell will be intense on this job.
I'm with Numb. Trade Bell for a moldy bologna sandwich if you have to.
Even if you're required to eat the moldy sandwich?
You can't combine TPEs for a single player. The Lakers don't have a TPE nearly big enough to absorb Roger's salary.Lakers have $4.3 million in TPE funds. I could see them essentially buying him with the TPEs in exchange for the Jazz getting an extra salary spot and a trade piece that is easier to move (TPE is a gift card vs. a player who can only be valued as a vet/expiring contract). It's just another bit of flexibility for us that we get whether we get rid of Raja or not. But a TPE could be used now instead of at the end of the season. I would love to take a 2016 second round Laker's pick (likely 50+ value), but I would prefer cash now over a pick that is likely going to be meh at best.
By Nick Borges | ESPN.com Recommend0Comments2EmailPrintThe Los Angeles Lakers have an open spot and according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, head coach Mike D'Antoni is still interested in adding him to the roster. D'Antoni was Bell's head coach in Phoenix from 2005-08.
The Lakers would probably do a deal sending Chris Duhon to Utah for Bell, however the Jazz have no interest since Duhon is owed at least $1.5 million of his $3.75 million salary in 2013-14.
Bell has been exiled in Florida all season and he could be available via free agency after the trade deadline passes on Thursday. Bell will be eligible for the playoffs if Utah releases him on or before March 1.
Dont know if this has been posted. But hell no!
I live in the LA area. Get him to the airport and I'll gladly pick him up. I can run to the costume shop first to rent a limo driver's uni. Just e-mail me when you have his ETA.So who wants to come with me to drive Roger to the airport?

Raja was an incredible bright spot during his first stint. He and AK were two of the main reasons Utah shocked the NBA and nearly made the playoffs when most "experts" predicted <10 wins. Wasn't his fault when KOC told him to shop the market as a FA and Phoenix called with a great deal at 12:00.01. He was then hotly pursued as a FA by KOC and led to believe he'd be a valued member of the Jazz. Yes, I agree his skills had declined after the injury more than he or the Jazz had believed. But who didn't have a problem with Corbin's rotations? Nearly everyone on the team has expressed disappointment over their roles at some point, with perhaps the exception of Jefferson. Raja's downfall was that he did so loudly and publicly. Kudos to him for shouting that "the emperor has no clothes."Bell hasn't been all bad. When he's healthy and has the slightest amount of rhythm he has been a useful role player. I don't know if this time off will mean he's terribly out of shape or in great shape. What I do know is that Raja is a douche and didn't deserve the opportunities he got here and I don't wish him well.
Not sure. The ESPN trade machine has them.Is there a list somewhere that shows outstanding TPEs? I haven't had any luck in my searching.

Yeah. The 5 minutes it takes to look at all 30 teams is more than I can take. That could be a bit tedious
