His contract is expiring at the end of the year as well. It makes a lot of sense to me.

I would not take him over Bojan. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t take him over Niang or Ilyasova, either. I was always so baffled with SAS signing him because he’s not SA material. Spent his whole time in Portland whining about wanting out then when he signs with SA ends up calling Lillard trying to get him traded back to Portland. Guy is soft and can’t board. And he would absolutely kill the vibe.

I guess they could give up Leonard and Olynyk. Leonard has another year left on his deal. I don’t believe the Heat have many draft assets, so SAS would have to be willing to eat the second year of Leonard’s salary for a couple second rounders.
