Listening to some Frank Zappa. Bought "Freak Out" and "In it for the Money" at the local music store on Record Store Day.

Threw it in the car-- not car-friendly tunes, but the tracks are super provocative, socially-speaking. Sonically, I do think I much prefer his later works. Maybe shoulda grooveshark'd em before buying.

They said cassettes would be the end of vinyl! They said compact discs would finish vinyl! They said mp3s would destroy vinyl! Ha! I laugh in their face!

Vinyl records have outlasted every new form factor and then some. In the last decade soooo many new record stores have opened up here in LA. It's almost magical.
