Lauri is averaging 27/9 in his last 25 games and 30/10 in his last 15 games. That is ****ing bonkers. It is hard to put into words how great he has been this season. It’s pretty surreal.

Especially when you take into account his efficiency. His efficiency is even more impressive than his raw numbers imo.

Yeah, looks like his mini slump from the perimeter is history. He's 19/32 (60%) in his last 4 games. In other words, absolutely scorching hot. Averaging 8 3PA's per game and that's too low IMO. The type of gravity you create when you shoot that well on that type of volume is hugely valuable in the modern NBA.

Dont forget we have seen many instances where he has been wide open but never got the pass over those last 4 games as well. He moves so well off ball... always finds the soft spots.

And 52.1/42.9/87.2 on the entire season. Unreal. He has a shot at the 50/40/90 club if he can keep getting FT and hitting them at a high rate. But still. Incredible.

Clarkson definintely gets tunnel vision. He has worked on it, and I think is better than in years past, but it is still a huge weakness for him. If he can break that habit by even 50% he will get 2-3 more assists per game and Lauri will see more scoring opportunities. Which is what we really need.

According to Rapor, Lauri is our best player followed by Walker. Clarkson continues to be an engima. Conley tries and is almost a positive influence on D, but solid on O. And Vando is a net negative all the way around. So is Beasley, but less so.



Lauri is #2 in the league among PF.



Lauri is 8th in the league overall, not too shabby.

He is #1 in points per touch, #2 in points per play (trailing Durant), #3 in points per shot attempt (trailing Jokic and Durant).

I think the only often cited offensive category where Lauri ranks outside of top 20 this season is the "total points created". He doesnt create many points through assists... which really sinks him in that category.

Its crazy, really.
