Atlanta is one of the teams that can actually offer him a decent contract with out working the SnT.

PG - Schoeder, Young
SG - Bazemore, Huerter, Dorsey
SF - Prince, Bembry
PF - Collins, Spellman
C - Dedmon, Plumlee

The biggest issue is that Collins and Favors are both inside guys and that doesn't make it an ideal fit. They are set in the back court

Depends on how they feel about Spellman. Favors would be a very good 4/5 for that team, and depth at either position is never a bad thing if the contracts and players are good.

They didnt trade for Young for him to be a backup. He is the Day 1 starter.

I don't see any of those as guys who play much in the playoffs. I see them as guys who help keep you on track to make the playoffs (or get a good playoff seed) when you have random injuries here and there during the regular season. That's still a valuable role. That doesn't mean you keep all of them but I think it means you keep some of them.

The biggest issue is that Atlanta wants to be terrible and will use their space to take salary dumps and get picks.

Sacramento is one team to watch... they have space and are absolutely a terrible fit with regard to roster construction but they are also stupid dumb and would absolutely convince themselves that a roster of 2 guards and non shooting bigs would be great. I’m kidding... I think.

If Thabo was healthy he would play more in the playoffs... 3 and D guys get their most burn then.

I like the guy, but if you have a shot at getting a younger talented player that can develop at a bargain, seems like it is bad business to keep the guy that was hurt most of the year and got himself a suspension. You can pick up the option without any cap consequences if you are operating over the cap. Would have MLE and BAE available still... costs you 5M and a roster spot though.

He was great when healthy but this last injury may have put him to pasture.
