What's new

Life - official thread

Btw, Karl owns two of the presidential suites.
He once tried to buy the whole property.

We have reached out to see if he wants to buy into our deal.

If nothing else we get to put up with him when he comes down with his entourage.. which apparently is only a couple times per year (with his wife coming much more often).

I suggest the Jazzfanz retreat occur during his visit.

Lol - that does make sense.. Except from what I hear he rents like the entire resort for his friends and family. I'm just getting into all this though..

My new life goal is to become Karl's friend. No clue how to start.

Yes it's some weird mini golf thing.

70,000 square foot spa building
46 room condo-hotel
10 pools
4 indoor tennis courts
14 outdoor tennis courts
Some number of pickle ball and shuffleboard
4 acre piece with entitlements to build the tallest building in St. George, by far.

I'm a decent tennis player, would love to try those indoor courts.. have only played outdoor.. LOL

Colonoscopy today - two polyps removed. If you are 50 or over, get one soon!

There was a big push to convert to metric back in the 80's. Every speed limit sign was listed in miles and k's for instance. It seemed to be going well. Metric was being used more and more frequently. Then suddenly they took all the metric signs down and the push to adopt metric ended. I don't know why. It was a dumb decision, though. Metric is way better than the English system.

What language is this word? How does one pronounce it? It certainly does not look like standard english...

I understand that you are using words, but the way they are put together does not make any sense. K's? Metric? What does that even mean?
