Why not join rest of the world? English system is medieval and outdated. Time to catch up!

There was a big push to convert to metric back in the 80's. Every speed limit sign was listed in miles and k's for instance. It seemed to be going well. Metric was being used more and more frequently. Then suddenly they took all the metric signs down and the push to adopt metric ended. I don't know why. It was a dumb decision, though. Metric is way better than the English system.

English system is superior outside scientific reasons cause of practical use. I know what one hunnerd degrees is but wtf is 37.778? I know what one hunnerd lbs is but wtf is 45.359 kg?

The scale extension makes easy for common communication.
