I don't want to judge Exum by last night alone, because other than Jingles, who's dangling bowling balls, and Gobert, who comes to play every night, everyone played like frightened #$ssies last night, especially Gordon. But dang, Exum looked so so bad. I know he missed a year, but the turnovers and the absence of the stones needed to actually go to the hole makes me think, more and more. . . bust.

Just type the word *******, minus all the symbols. Otherwise, you'll get a warning or infraction for circumventing the profanity filter.
That said, Exum is the biggest ***** on the team. By far. Couple that with the fact that he's not skilled and the dude is a waste.

That is why I think Gobert needs to be the leader of this team, not Hayward. The team takes on the personality of their leader, and in the case of last night, that personality was to curl up in the fetal position. Yeah Exum really sucked last night, but that was the least of my worries since he's not a major contributor anyway.

A kid that young playing against the likes of Benedict Durrant, Thompson and Curry is bound to be a little timid. It's more the rest of the team that worries me. I do think (hope) they will bounce back and learn from this.

I know, but I just keep waiting for him to build on the flashes i've seen. . .not happening. But Gordon, talk about wilting under the lights. He can be really really good, and then sometimes he quick-grows ovaries. Great players have bad nights, yeah, but great players don't lose their fire. Maybe "good" is his ceiling. And maybe diarrhea is Exum's ceiling. . .

Legit concern. We saw it during the four game streak where Hayward sucked. I get that the shots aren't always going to fall but Hayward needs to keep attacking. Draw a foul or something.

Jazz just bought the Exum hype in 2014. Magic knew better and skipped on Exum as they knew Payton will be available and saw that he will be better player. LaVine as well was underrated by many before draft and now look how much better he is than Exum that it is not even funny. But draft is never a clear science unfortunately.. especially with internationals. For one Porzingis or Jokic there is quite a few tzikitishvilis, korolevs, vesely's, milicics and exums.

Exum will be starting for the Jazz in 2-3 years and will be playing well above average for his position in the league.

He has all the physical tools, all the intelligence and all the hard work to be a really good player. He is a slow developer and taking 2 years off from Basketball and his injury slowed him down a bit.

Sometimes I feel the same way and sometimes I think he's never going to excel... his nickname should be The Enigma.

If the game slows down for him, like it tends to finally do for most young guys. And with his speed he should be pretty good. But like you I do fear he's a bust. But I am more patient than most here. I don't need him to blow up right now. If he does than great! If He doesn't I wait a couple more years before calling him a bust. But that's just how kick *** I am. :)
