Lockout!!!

? I was just curious as to if there are actually any African American people on the board who take offense to what CJ writes in every post.

If the answer is no, does that make carolinjazz less offensive? If the answer is yes, does that make him more offensive?

THIS is what I'm talking about! What do you think of his observations???

ESPN’s Bill Simmons raises the notion of “limited intellectual capital” amid the lockout negotiations, and suddenly the philosophical debate transcends basketball-related income.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the fact that most of the league's top stars have very few years of college. He had a specific example related to the idea that the three players that shot down the 50-50 proposal had three collective years of upper education between them.

As Alex Kennedy from HOOPSWORLD just mentioned, "sources" say progress is being made today, while at the same time players (LBJ, Melo, CP3, Westbrook, DRose) have been dropping out of the World All-Star Classic like flies. Coincidence?

Pretty brave of you to come on a predominately white board and spew your non sense. Love to see you try to get away with this on Facebook.
He said nothing wrong. CJ says things without the phoney *** society PC edit button turned on, good for him. Wish more people did this.

Stephen A. Smith said on Mike and Mike this morning that the sides are closer to a deal than they have been leading on.

At least it seems they're putting forth the time and effort required to get it done. Hope it's soon.

Too little too late IMO. While I'm going to be watching/rooting for the Jazz once the NBA is back, I'm extremely bothered about how the NBA and the union handled this. Where was the urgency in the summer? Where was the mediation during the summer? Why did they wait until part of the season was already canceled before entering into mediation for the first time?

It's a double-edged sword for me because I dont' want to support the NBA, but do want to support the Jazz.

Right there, myself.
