.....just thought Jason's observations shed light on why nobody cares much about NBA basketball these days.....why most side with the owners.....and why a whole year lockout wouldn't bother the mainstream public at all.

OK, but thus far the influx of European players hasn't diminished the number of black players at all. Percentage wise they're replacing White American players.
As far as the "loathing of NBA Players" this is nowhere near as bad as the 1994 baseball strike in terms of anger from the fans.
I like Whitlock; but he has a tendancy to just pull stuff out of his fat *** sometimes.

"Michael Jordan has always been a class act, with maybe the exception of how he cheated on his wife & ex-wife, while Stephon Marbury has always been an ignorant thug with a ghetto rap (pun intended) and is not much smarter than other NBA "geniuses' who got mostly blackballed from the league, like J.R. Rider and Latrell Sprewell. I'll wager his Chinese teammates have about as much love & respect for him as they can fit in-between their chopsticks when having to eat with him on the bus rides from game-to-game.
He's a headphones-on, "I'm on the phone", it's "all about me", got-no-care-for-you punk who never matured, and never apologizes---A male-chauvanistic di¢k who twitters and writes on his facebook like the 3rd grade was as far as his edumacation ever got 'im. Which is probably why you can't even read his tattoos."

I didn't invent the term "hip-hop" ball....Lamar Odom did!!!
Today, the game has a hipper, edgier persona. Tattoos and baggy shorts, a thumping beat.
