today, I suspect, it's the Wal-mart 'jammers" who won't take a bath until there's a power outage and their facebook goes dark.

stat-wise, I'm #29 on rep, #36 on post count. I can't fix rep, but I can race on up on the pc. 700 or so would move me to #30.

I dont think there is any way they can know but I mean who would have the time to do that? And what for?

I am utterly, and I do mean utterly, astonished.

A loyal subject of 'Er Majesty, the Queen" bereft of wit to see the charm, if not the absolute necessity, of interested officials with multiple lines of access to critical management information.

Like, I mean, there are not enough code writers in the computer production corporates to ensure that there are not dozens, if not hundreds, of ways built into our computers for "listening in".

I think they use some software to try and detect alts, but in this scenario it would be impossible to detect as long as you were diligent about only logging in under the same username each time at each home.

Actually, so far as management goes, I'm pretty sure it's a matter of definitions of the term "alt". I'm pretty sure two different persons have been accused of being alts of one another, and both banned.

Management owns the shop, and has the prerogative to think what they will. . . . and even if they could "detect" the scenario I described, they might just not "want to" ban someone for that.

Like our real justice system, they can do what they want.

The Unknowable God

Paul encountered a statute in Greece to "The Unknown God". Well, they had all kinds of Gods, but just in case they'd overlooked one. . . .
