they sell baled hay and straw, too. Perfect bales used in fake farm decorations, say, for a picnic or some engagement pics, or a hayride on the tourist "farm". Maybe some folks use them to fluff the nests of chickens and keep the eggs from breaking. My wife threatened to buy some once, and I made a huge stand about using the lawn clippings for that, instead of putting them in trash bags and shipping them off to the landfill. Her little sister hired a photographer to do her wedding invitations, and in those pics she wore coveralls and her intended life assistant/attendant wore a cowboy shirt and hat, some rodeo gear including brand-new ****less boots. She sat on the prissy perfect bale, and he twirled a lariat over her head, I think. It was a cute pic, and realistic too.
When you lasso a free-range chic you have to hang on for the ride, or you'll lose your shirt letting go.
