A true racial census of the United States would have about 50%, maybe more, Americans with black ancestry. A lot "passed" decades ago and took up being "white". Most native Americans today have some black ancestry. Most Mexicans and Hispanics have some black ancestry, and it's true throughout the rest of the Americas, especially Brazil perhaps.
A "Race War" today would be like Protestants and Catholics going to war all over again. From my perspective, there's so little difference between the groups.
