What's new

Really should consider sitting Rudy and Mike too.
This. Might as well schedule loss this sucker and play all the new guys today. Whiteside has been killing it so if he decides to be connected we won't lose much there until he sits to rest. Give Juancho, NAW, Butler, Paschall all some heavy burn.

Nice, I see we're tanking for 6th. Smart move.
Minnesota's remaining schedule is tough, so I think it is unlikely we fall to 7th, but not unfathomable. I'd like to see that scenario become even more unlikely before tanking for 6th.

Ya and even if we sit everyone i think we have a chance to win. We are at home, the clippers are no juggernaut and lack star power themselves, and our deep bench is better than ever imo.

Yep, this. Sit all of the ones with fraggle bodies, let them heal up a bit.

Damn sometimes I really miss the days of Stockton and Malone when most stars played most of the season. I know there were injuries, but they didn't sit anyone for "rest" days really.

This proves that out:

For the 20-21 season:

"The increase was even more pronounced when focusing on the league's stars. This season's All-Stars missed 370 of a possible 1,944 games (19%), the highest percentage in a season in NBA history, according to Elias Sports Bureau. They missed an average of 13.7 regular season games each this year."

Yeah there was the short off-season, and some different situations, but it is still a bunch of games missed, and how many of those were "rest" games as opposed to real injuries?

Sir, Reggie jackson and Terrence Mann are all stars… I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

Clippers have been learning to play short-handed all year. With Donovan out I'd bet on the L tonight sadly, and I'm even taking my daughter so that kinda sucks.
Place a bet against the Jazz large enough to pay for your night out. Can’t remember which poster here said they would bet against the Jazz to make the outcome a win-win. This may be the best form of fanning and perhaps I’ve really been missing out all these years.

It's going to be interesting to see what the starting lineup looks like tonight. My guess is Conley/JC/Royce/Juancho/Rudy. Most of the lineups we'll see tonight haven't played together hardly at all, so it could be ugly at times. The Clippers kind of suck without George and Kawhi though, so I think we likely still win.
