Marijuana: Facts, Myths, and plain old Stupidity.

We were talking about a specific recommendation of a zero per se limit on THC levels while driving. If you get pulled over for some reason (short of hurting someone or causing property damage), they don't recommend criminal penalties for people who test out (if a test is legal AND performed) at the levels we've been discussing.
You've been arguing that. I never was. My only concern from the start was morons that thought it was ok to drive while high.

This isn't rocket science. We've moved on from the simple discussion of whether or not THC impairs.
That's not what I've been reading. But if that's true then great that people realize that. My work here is done.

According to the study, it is (or should be) okay. Police and driving instructors could not detect any impairment and the study says it was similar to someone with a BAC of 0.05%. If you think that means people are stupid for thinking driving after marijuana is not a big deal, then you better look in the mirror when you call people "morons."

Incredible that you can come in here with no experience whatsoever with smoking weed, no scientific evidence whatsoever, a bunch of scientific evidence posted that contradicts your claims, and yet still call everyone a moron who doesn't agree with your opinion.

You two hypocrites deserve each other. Look, I understand that for whatever reason you couldn't and/or can't handle life and so turn to altering your brain so reality works a little better. Fine, we all got our crutches I suppose. But don't come in here spewing a bunch of BS and expect the sane world to just buy it so you can sleep a little better at night.

Driving while high is more dangerous than driving sober. That's a fact and none of your spinning can change it. So deal with it or go to that other reality you visit and maybe there it's ok.

Well in this real world, the scientific data compiled on this subject disagrees with you. So does my personal experience.

The only place you are proven correct is in your own mind. I guess that pretty much confirms which of us is actually in the "sane world" and which is in some "other reality."

Salty likes to alter his reality? What a surprise.
Yes, I used to smoke weed back in the day. I don't anymore. The funny thing is, weed smokers know they are getting high and they know when they aren't high anymore.

You, apparently, live in an alternate reality at all times, without ever being aware of it.

Not too difficult to see which is more "insane."

1. So is it ok for me to try to enjoy my life or not? Do you only do those things that are pertinent, or do you try to enjoy yourself from time to time? I'm a little confused, since while you're on this website, watching TV, eating out (I've seen your fat ***), etc., it's clear you're not "handling" your life the way the authority you've submitted to has recommended.

2. What BS? I agree that getting high and driving isn't a good idea, but I'm guessing you're not driving with perfect focus, at or below the speed limit, with hands at ten and two at all times. I wonder, do you always use your blinker? Have you ever talked on your phone while driving? Eaten while driving? All these activities will negatively affect your ability to drive. Should you face criminal prosecution if you're guilty of those behaviors? This discussion moved way beyond what you're getting your panties in a bunch about a long time ago.

If it is putting others at risk, sure. I wish they would arrest every idiot who drives while yammering on their cell phone. Would make the streets a lot safer for the rest of us.

What about if trained experts like police officers and driving instructors could not detect any impairment in their driving, even when using equipment designed to help detect such impairment (like simulators that record every action)?
