I've always maintained that the best way for the Jazz to get that third piece is via trade. Lindsey has a shot at the deadline with the expiring contracts of Burks and whichever of the options he picks up on the "NG" guys. Dare I say Allen and the 2019 pick could also be assets? I have little hope anyone would want Bradley. I think Lindsey got a bust with Bradley. He just looks too slow and plays a foot below the rim.The other point in picking up cheap undervalued players is they can become good trade assets which can become good bargaining chips for trades in the future. Which is more realistic than signing a star imo.
Bjelica. Jazz have a lot of players at the 2/3. They need a true 4 who can stretch the floor.Who would you guy's rather have, Hezonja or Bjelica? I think I'd rather go after Hezonja, he's younger and can play two positions. On the other hand Bjelica has been a much better 3 point shooter. Which one would you rather use the MLE on?
I’d much rather have Hezonja. Upside and age are both better fits. Plus, the Jazz only have to sell Mario on coming. They don’t have to craft an offer sheet that overpays or gets matched.Bjelica. Jazz have a lot of players at the 2/3. They need a true 4 who can stretch the floor.
I am fairly sure I’d only offer a one year deal with a team option to anyone we sign using the MLE... we want max FA money... go bargain hunting this FA period there is no money out there... go find a home run.
Did the Jazz suddenly become the Brooklyn Nets?
