Marvin is a good player. I was surprised to see those bricks. I think he is an emotional type. He needs to snap out of his psyche out.

The best we can take from this is Williams will most definitely opt out of his contract. I don't think he was ever as good as we thought but he isn't as bad as he's shown either. This team is just not a good fit for him. He'll take he chances as an FA and try to trade short term money into more years.

I never said keep starting him. You can't read good. I would be totally fine having him sit the bench and play 5 minutes a game. All I asked is who would you have take his place? Carroll? Hayward? Move Sap to the 3 and start Favors? Pretty simple and honest question, but your toxic shock syndrome must be clouding your reading comprehension. Change your tampon, have your mom help if you cant figure it out, and come back later.

Only let a few players hes guarded get their average. So he is at least a functional defender.

can anyone think of another point in history where the starters were not a main contributor on the team, and were just setting it up for the bench to come in and be the real team? seriously, when has there been three players starting, who were not even role players on a team? I know the situation in San Antonio, where Ginobili comes off the bench, but at least the starter contributes. Our guys cant even play as good as d league players.

Yep. The only logical explanation I can come up with is that Corbin is nothing more than a puppet for the front office who is calling all the shots in terms of starters/rotation. If that isn't the case, Corbin either doesn't listen to his assistants or they're all completely moronic.
I can relate to the satisfaction in seeing the community rally around an assertion I made two years ago yet was met with hateful opposition.

I feel bad for Marvin. I was excited when we acquired him. He is, I think, much better than he's been playing. He was a productive player in Atlanta, but for some reason, he just can't get it going here. Utah is a bad fit for him. I hope he opts out and signs somewhere where he's a better fit and can contribute and get his career going again.
One thing's for sure, though, it's time he went to the bench and pretty well stayed there. Give him more minutes if his play deserves it, but not until.
Regarding Williams, and Bell and Howard before him, I just can't figure out Corbin. Does he have a legit reason for continuing to trot out one of the worst starting lineups in the league, or is he just pig headed stubborn? Are his assistants enabling him, or are they trying to get through to him, but are being ignored? Is the FO complicit with Corbin, or are they too frustrated, and if so, why are they not intervening at all? It just beggars explanation what this guy's thought process is. I, for one, cannot fathom it.

KOC couldn't expect Corbin to tell Harris that he'd be coming off the bench. That would be too much to ask of Ty.

I feel bad for Marvin too. It must be so hard making 8 mil a year to stand around and clank shots. If only he was taller and more athletic, maybe he could contribute by rebounding or something. Poor guy.

I feel bad for him because (1) from what I've seen and heard, he's a good guy, and I generally don't take pleasure in other people's difficulties, (2) I know he's better than this, and he knows he's better than this, and I imagine he's very frustrated right now, and (3) he's always been a team player, he doesn't complain, he tries to do his job (although not well at the moment). He's not some blow hard ego maniac or a jerk, he's a decent guy, a consumate pro and team player going through a tough spot. So yes, I feel bad for him.
Despite the fact that athletes make a lot of money, they're still people no different from anyone else with the same range of emotions, disappointments, frustrations, insecurities, etc. Money doesn't make any of these go away.
