What's new

Max Space this Summer!

You have not argued for the non-lameness of your mentality in the original post, which is all I was talking about.

You don't even seem to disagree.

I defined our teams morale. We are very conservative in our ways. Don't be upset at me because DL didn't make the moves you want or wanted.

Just saw he had 32 points tonight. 6-13 from 3.

I mentioned Ross years ago and got mocked because he was "just a dunker"

This is the same **** every year. Almost nobody here wants, or can even see, an up and coming player. Everyone wants to overpay at their peak. The **** is retarded. Its a horrible strategy.

Ross may be turning a corner with his offense. But it’s still a bit up-in-the-air, and his defense is welllll below average. He’s perfect for the dudes who miss Burks.

Good point Stoked.
Compare this team to the Corbin Reign. Of course, some of that is on Lindsey. He set Corbin up to fail by not giving him a bench. Not that Ty would hvae succeeded. He just failed so miserably that not even Gail could save him.

This team has gone through significant change and culture growth the last 5 seasons.

Sorry

Actually no, it's because of our culture no big free agents want to sign here or continue to leave us. We are a small market and most players don't see Utah as a desired franchise they would like to play for. We continually get overlooked by free agents and most of our draft picks bolt as soon as their rookie contracts are up or when they become free agents. I have learned to embrace that as being a jazz fan for over 30 years. I don't use it as a cop out but I acknowledge that we aren't an ideal team to play for by some/most. Yet I do take pride in the players we draft or choose to sign/ the ones we recruite from overseas and d/g league, those who agree to play for us. They have a certain character, pedigree and have a perceived Jazz DNA.

Yes some things might have changed slightly but the majority has stayed the same and in my mind always will but I'm hoping this won't always be the case.

Since I was born

That's really believable. Thanks for letting me know. So were you born Feb 18 2013? or have you been a Jazz fan since then ? I know my account is older than yours but I could have opened my account sooner than you by coincidence or upon knowing that this message board existed before you did. At any rate ... It's all good

He has that rep. He had some moments here in Toronto but just couldn't bring it every night or was given restricted minutes

We will absolutely disagree. From the moves made, to the Jazz PR, to the growth of the coaching and scouting staffs. Even the perception of the team around the league.

There has been significant change. If you don’t want to see it or agree that’s fine. But it has happened none the less.

That's fair, I've lived in many places and the Utah Perception has been the same. Living in Toronto I get dissed for liking them. I'm a colored person and they say Utah why ? You aren't white or a mormon lol I just laugh and smile and rock my jazz gear. Even in college ball when I would wear my jazz shirt in practices I was dissed. Even more reason to love the team I root for.

Do you honestly think Utah is a desirable free agent destination for most NBA players though ?

I do disagree, i'm just being real. This is the reality and perception outside of Utah.

When I was in Texas, as well as Georgia, people looked at me like I was an alien when I told them I grew up in Utah. About to move to Portland so we’ll report back on that later
