Okay so someone help me understand why teams don't call a timeout then run an inbounds play to get a real shot off before the half? I feel like I'm crazy or an idiot cuz I don't get it.

Coaches apparently get a bonus for unused timeouts. Oh and challenges.

The Jazz surprised everyone and said nope. One day after he wasn't even on the injury report.

They decided to be overly cautious because we're playing Memphis.

Maybe, but that's means he's still injured to some level. I'm happy for them to take it safe. That's smart for him and the team.

Go back and watch the initial run the Grizz put up in the 2nd quarter. The Grizz know how to screw up the Jazz flow. Rudy was doing the right screens, the Jazz players weren't running there guys through him. Clarkson, Ingles and Bogey kept backing off the Rudy picks and it is working out.

Frankly if we are hitting our 3s we are substantially in control of this game. That's like 4 more 3s we would have, as well as saving the points that Memphis scored off of those long rebounds, because they were feasting on The fast break on those. Plus we lost focus on defense almost entirely. It doesn't help that the refs are basically not calling anything.
