This is kind of harsh but... yeah. The amount of 'Quin benching Donovan in a close game against one of the best teams to teach him a lesson' crap that was spewed was ridiculous and still is ridiculous. I get the developmental concept, but 1 Quin hadn't done it all season, why pull on the leash now? 2 Nobody can even point to anything he may have seemingly done that was so egregious to warrant a benching? 3 Quin has stated many times how much he values game situations and experience in development and 4 Donovan is one of the best 4th quarter scorers in the league.

We got jumped on for saying that if he benched him for a reason other than injury, that's inconsistent with what he has done and seem like we are questioning the player development master. When really I'm extremely confident in Quin's player development that he wouldn't do something like that.

Y'all got pushed back on because some of you were calling out the media guys, demanding answers, cussing and what not when basically you had no damn clue what happened. It wasn't simply not understanding and questioning the move.

Snyder deserved the benefit of the doubt which he was not given. Push back was deserved.

But you gotta admit the media guys were afraid of coach Bundy. This could have all been avoided if they were willing to put their life on the line.
