Mitchell better be hurt

Super risky possibility since it's winter: Maybe Mitchell was playing with a cold and was exhausted after 3 quarters?

Yeah, we want him to play 48 minutes a game, never be sick, or even tired at all. Doesn't matter how he feels, jazzfanz wants him in the game no matter what.

There had to be a reason. Mitchell did seem less aggressive on offense, so maybe he was tired or slightly injured. Keeping Rubio in there was not a good move, but then Neto was out. Seemed to me that Udoh got raped by the refs, as well.

He’s a guy I want out there no matter what... he can score in bunches and everyone sucked on defense today pretty much.

This game was much closer than the score indicates. We stopped scoring... DM helps us keep scoring. At very least Arica moves to him instead of Hood.

I don't get why no one has asked Quin directly why he benched Donovan. Seriously, we had this team right where we wanted them and he benches our best player? And some here want to defend that without any explanation? Was it because he went after offensive rebounds? Was it because he fouled too much? Did he take himself out of the game? Is he sick? Is he injured?

It's called the benefit of the doubt. I trust Snyder to do what is right for the team and the individual players. I'm not worried, at all, about why Snyder took him out. It wasn't his night. As a rookie that is going to happen. He still played over 20 minutes. It's ok lol.

That's cool, but I disagree. We were up 8 points fairly late in the game and our go-to guy gets benched for reasons none of us can determine. If there's a reason I'd love to hear it. I'm not the only one wondering.

Do you think this is a game we could have won? I do. Donovan makes a big play or two(as he ALWAYS has) and maybe we have a huge victory. Do you think he was playing poorly? I sure as hell don't. Look at his stat line.

Donovan had some bad plays. But not any more obvious poor decisions than Ricky or Burks or thabo or jingles or Jonas or Johnson. Either something happened that wasn’t obvious, he’s hurt, or quin had an off night.

The true travesty is that our market lacks the journalistic integrity to actually sort out these matters. When the team owns the media, things get murky fast.

I like our local coverage guys, but seriously no one asks about this... like this is the only question I’d ask after the game. Sometimes these guys kill me.

I think he had foul problems for parts of the game and never really got into a rhythm or involved in the offense.

Four steals in 21 minutes. We could have used a steal or two to stop their run.
