Against mostly second units. He's also not a target that the defense takes seriously. We'll see if he can sustain his impact, but even then, we've yet to see him play against scouting. I promise you if Gobert was playing in the 2nd unit and was being ignored he'd be absolutely ****ing feasting.
All that being said, I'm a huge fan of Udoh. I just think saying that he needs some of Gobert's minutes is incredibly premature and almost borders on offensive.
Say what you want about him in gd threads but his posts about the Jazz are usually positive and good the last couple years. No reason to bag on him for posting about the Jazz in a reasonable way.
But why does DM need to start? His trajectory looks fine so far. He seems to be a high character guy who won't self destruct if he's not given the keys to the Ferrari each night.
DM can dictate the whole game. The others can't.
We need a scoring punch if we're going to be good. Hood might bring it, maybe Ingles, possibly Rubio, but Rubio has made tons of mistakes. DM hasn't.
What? DM has made a **** load of mistakes so far.
Favors.
What mistakes did he make in the last game? What mistakes did Rubio make?
This thread cracks me up. 3 days ago everyone was ready to give up on Mitchell and call him a bust. Now he's the best player ever cause his shot finally started falling. Get it together guys!
Also, I've said all along, Mitchell has played well this entire season regardless of his point totals. There is more than one way to be effective and his calling card is looking like passing and defensive ability.
